Racer Tennis Named 2020 ITA All-Academic Team, Six Earn Individual Honors

Murray State women's tennis has been named a 2020 All-Academic Team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as a result of the team's 3.71 GPA for the 2019-20 campaign.
In addition to being one of the 244 programs to receive the team award, given to teams with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale, the Racers also featured six players that received individual accolades as ITA Scholar-Athletes – a distinction reserved for student-athletes that earn at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale during the current academic year.
Sara Bjork, Sara Loncarevic, Samantha Muller, and Natalie Slezakova, Anja Loncarevic, and Marit Kreugel earned the honor, with Anja Loncarevic and Kreugel leading the way as both turned in a perfect 4.0 GPA on the year.
