MSU Student-Athletes Receive Election Day Off - CFSB Center Serving As Polling Location

The Murray State University Athletics Department announced a department-wide student-athlete day off on Tuesday, November 3. Racer athletics teams will pause all team activities to provide all student-athletes the opportunity to vote.

"We believe strongly in developing the young people in our program 'The Racer Way'…as students, persons, players and eventually professionals," said Director of Athletics Kevin Saal. "As tomorrow's leaders, we encourage our Racers to use their voice and exercise their right to vote on November 3."

Murray State Athletics', along with the NCAA, OVC and numerous coaches' associations, are aligned in the importance of providing every available opportunity for student-athletes to exercise their right to vote. Additionally, Murray State Athletics coaches and administrative staff will continue to educate student-athletes regarding the process to becoming a registered voter.

The CFSB Center is also being used as a polling location for the election.
