Racers Move Up To Fifth At Ozark Invitational

The Murray State women’s golf team plays their final round at the Ozark National Golf Club Wednesday
Murray State's women's golf team moved up a spot to fifth place Tuesday at the Ozark National Invitational in Branson, Missouri at the Ozark National Golf Club.
The Racers carded team scores of 298-297=595 and stood one shot from fourth place Middle Tennessee (594).
Murray State's Sarah Forsythe made the biggest move as she began the day in 29th place, but finished it in eighth place on scores of 75-71=146. Ana Picchi remained in fourth place on rounds of 73-71=144. Alma Garcia had a spot in 24th place on scores of 72-78=150, while Payton Carter was in 39th position on scores of 78-77=155. Eliza Mae Kho was in 73rd place on rounds of 86-79=165.
MSU's Emmie Eriksson was sixth among 10 solo players at Ozark National with a spot in 54th place overall on scores of 79-79=158.
Oral Roberts (572) was the team leader, with Central Arkansas (584), Arkansas State (585) in second and third place.
Sarah Bell of Oral Roberts was the medalist leader with scores of 66-68=137.
The final round in the Ozarks is set for Wednesday morning.
