With 11th Place Finish The Racers wrapped up their fall season with a seventh-place team finish

The Murray State men's golf team wrapped up play at the TVA Credit Union Invitational in Killen, Alabama with a spot in seventh place in a field of 11 teams.

The Racers carded scores of 302-296-313=911, just ahead of Stetson (915) and Chicago State (317).

Connor Coombs led the Racers with a seventh place showing on rounds of 72-70-80=222, while Kamaren Cunningham placed 20^th on scores of 73-73-78=224. Quinn Eaton (3) 78 74 82 234 for a spot in 46^th place, while Tyler Powell placed 52^nd on scores of 82-81-74=237. Carson Holmes placed 56^th on scores of 79-79-81=239.

Walker Beck finished 3^rd among the 11 solo players on rounds of 76-76-74=226 and was 24^th overall, while John Buchanan carded scores of 76-75-87=238 for a spot in 54^th place.

North Alabama was the winner at their home event with a score of 867, while Valparaiso (875), UT Martin (882), Southern Illinois (885) and Rollins (891) made up the top-5.

Tate Chumley of UT Martin was the medalist winner on scores of 71-70-56=209.

The Racers are now finished with their first fall season under rookie head coach Daniel DeLuca. Their first action in the spring is the UNCG Invitational at Hammock Creek Golf Club (Feb. 13-15) in Palm City, Florida.
