The MSU women’s golf squad finished up play in Gulf Shores, Ala.

Payton Carter led the Murray State women's golf squad with a 16^th place finish at the Bama Beach Bash at Gulf Shores Golf Club in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Carter carded rounds of 77-74-78=229, while Eliza Ma Kho placed 47^th on scores of 77-77-82=236. Ana Picchi had scores of 77-83-77=237 had a spot in 50^th place, while Alma Garcia placed 81^st on scores of 81-83-82=246 and Emma Payne placed 92^nd on scores of 82-87-86=266.

The Racers came home with a 12^th place finish on scores of 312-317-319=948. South Alabama (894) was the team champion with Texas State (901), Darmouth (904), Louisiana Monroe (916) and Jacksonville (920) making up the top-5.

Samatha Yao of Dartmouth won the medalist title at 217.

About Murray State Athletics
Located in Murray, Kentucky, the athletics department of Murray State University is a NCAA Division I member and plays in the Football Championship Subdivision. The Racers have 15 programs including men's teams for baseball, basketball, cross country, football and golf and women's teams for basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field and volleyball, as well as a mixed gender rifle team.
