Walker Paces Racers At Ellendale Intercollegiate

The Murray State men's golf had a spot in seventh place after 36 holes at the Ellendale Intercollegiate being played at Houma, Louisiana at Ellendale Country Club.

The Racers shared seventh with New Orleans and Nicholls State. The Racers carded team scores of 293-295=588. Southeastern Louisiana was the team leader at 565, with North Alabama (573), Incarnate Word (577), Houston Baptist and UT Martin (584) rounded out the top-5.

MSU's Walker Beck had the best day for the Racers with a spot in 16^th place on rounds of 70-75=145, while Kamaren Cunningham was in 28^th place on scores of 71-76=147. It was a 40^th place spot for Quinn Eaton on rounds of 74-75=149 and 44^th for Connor Coombs on scores of 78-72=150. Carson Holmes 79-73=152 was in 53^rd place.

MSU's Trey Lewis and Tyler Powell are playing the event as solo players. Lewis was in 37^th place on rounds of 76-72=148 and Powell was in 53^rd place after carding scores of 71-81=152.

Ken-Marten Soo of Incarnate Word was the medalist leader after scores of 69-69=138.
