Tennis Set for Regular Season Finale Versus Austin Peay

Murray State and Austin Peay Wrap-Up Regular Season Play at 12 PM at Bennie Purcell Courts
Murray State (10-9) tennis welcomes Austin Peay for the regular-season finale on Saturday at 1 pm at Bennie Purcell Courts in Murray, Kentucky. The Racers enter the contest following a big win over Southeast Missouri in their most recent match while Austin Peay comes into the weekend undefeated in conference play and has won nine consecutive matches. Saturday will also be senior day for the Racers lone senior, Stasya Sharapova.Â
Sharapova leads MSU and was pivotal to picking up two of the necessary four points in the win over SEMO. The graduate student along with Natalie Slezakova picked up a doubles win before Sharapova also collected a singles victory the last time out. Sharapova has collected 110 overall wins in her MSU career.
Annika Pschorr, Sarah Bureau, and Sharapova each have reached double figures in wins this season.Â

Austin Peay enters the contest as winners of nine straight matches. The Governors are undefeated in Ohio Valley Conference matches to this point and have clinched the regular-season OVC title.
Following Saturday's match, the OVC tournament is set to take place April 29 through May 1 in Evansville, Indiana.Â
