Nimmo Sixth - Racers Seventh After Two Rounds of Grover Page Classic

The Racers are playing their second fall event at Jackson Country Club
Jay Nimmo was in sixth place and the Murray State men's golf team had a spot in seventh place after 36 holes of the Grover Page Classic at Jackson Country Club in Jackson, Tennessee.
The Racers carded a morning 292, but managed to shave seven strokes in the afternoon to post a 3-under-par 285. MSU's 577 total was two shots off Morehead State at 575. North Alabama (562), Tennessee Tech (567), Bellarmine (567) and host UT Martin (569) made up the top-5.

Nimmo was in sixth place on scores of 74-66=140, with teammate Kamaren Cunningham one shot away at 141 on scores of 69-72. MSU's Trey Lewis had a spot in 44th place on scores of 74-73=147, while John Buchanan carded rounds of 76-74=150 for 57th place. Walker Beck was in 72nd place on rounds of 75-79=154.

Tuesday's final 18 holes begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
