Racer Football Now Taking Student Tailgating Reservations

As Racer Football plays its home opener Saturday at 6 p.m. at Roy Stewart Stadium, the Murray State student body is reminded that student tailgating reservations are now open.

Student organizations may request a tailgating spot through the Murray State Athletics department.

2022 Racer Football Student Tailgate Policies
There are 16 spots open to student organizations.
Tailgate spots are limited to one (1) per organization.
Tailgating groups may not be combined - all groups must establish their own individual tailgates.
Admission: Free to college students. Check-In Time: 3 Hours Prior (3:00pm)
Racer Walk: 2 Hours Prior (4:00pm)
Grills: Approved and encouraged, provided each tailgate tent also has a fire extinguisher.
Ingress/Egress: Students will not be permitted to access the seating bowl from the field and vice versa.
Lot Size: 30'x30' Parking/Unloading: Unload at the south end of the stadium; Parking is located in the large stadium lot.
Tables/Chairs: Provided by the student group.
Tent Size: Restricted to max two 10'x10' or one 10'x20' tent provided by the student group.
Tent Location: You will find out your tailgate spot number when you check in.

Tailgating inside the stadium will be limited to the south end grass area. Crossing the track onto the turf or movement to and from the stadium concourse is prohibited.

Saturday, September 24 - Eastern Illinois 4:00pm (Family Weekend)
Saturday, October 8 - UT Martin 2:00pm (Breast Cancer Awareness)
Saturday, November 12 - Robert Morris 1:00pm (Hall of Fame, Military Appreciation, Senior Day)
