2022 Racer Football Gameday Guide

Below is all the information fans need know about the upcoming season and game days at Roy Stewart Stadium as the Racers get set to open the 98th season of collegiate football at Murray State University and the 50^th at historic Roy Stewart Stadium. The Racers host Jacksonville State Saturday (Sept. 10) in a 6 p.m. kick off.

Fans won't want to miss a second of Racers football action in 2022. Season tickets start at just $60. All Racers Football season tickets can be purchased by calling the ticket office at (270) 809-3000 or by visiting the ticket office in lower lobby "A" of the CFSB Center. The Murray State ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Game Day Fan Notes

Racer Reserve Seats – Located in and around the "M" at the 50-yard line, the Racer Reserve seats have quickly become the best seats in the house. Features include comfortable chair back, lots of legroom, easy access from the concourse and in-seat concessions via GrubHub. Single-game tickets for the Racer Reserve section can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.
Free Admission For Kids: Infant-College – All children from birth to college age will receive free admission to all home games this season. To obtain free admission to all games, season ticket wristbands can be picked up at Gates 3-4.
Dunker's Kidz Zone – Each game, kids can go to the third floor of Roy Stewart Stadium for a special area just for kids. Activities at each game may include football and basketball pop-a-shot and other games. This is also the location of the Junior Racers table presented by Taylor Family Dental.
Youngblood's RV Zone – Single game tickets for the Youngblood's RV Zone are still available and include 12 tickets and a reserved spot in the North RV Zone for just $500 per game. Single-game tickets for the Youngblood's RV Zone can be purchased by calling the ticket office at (270) 809-3000.
Skip The Line – In order to save time, all single-game tickets, including Racer Reserve, can be purchased in advance, online at Ticketmaster.com.
Academic College of the Game – One or two academic colleges will be featured each game and there will be a special presentation highlighting each college participating and how they are helping prepare their students for life after Murray State.
Preston's Place - Each game local businesses and organizations are supporting the Preston Cope Memorial scholarship by purchasing a special reserved block of seats in section KK. All proceeds will directly benefit the Preston Cope Memorial Scholarship and the young people of Marshall County.
Racer Walk – Approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to kick, "Call To The Post" will play signaling fans that the Racer Walk is starting. The team and members of the spirit squads will be traveling from the CFSB Center to the south end zone entrance to Roy Stewart Stadium. Please make plans to line the route and show support for the team as they pass by!
Kickoff Kid – Each game a Taylor Family Dental Junior Racer will be selected to retrieve the kicking tee after the Racers kickoff in either the first or second half.
Racer 1 – Murray State University is the only school in the nation that has a race horse and jockey circle the track after the home team scores a touchdown! This tradition began in 1976 and is stronger today than ever. Student jockey, Madison Kirby, has the honor in 2022 of extending this amazing tradition at MSU. "Vegas" is the current horse that is following many before who have performed as Racer 1. He's the first horse in the history of the Racer 1 program that was born and bred on the Murray State University Farm. Vegas is an excellent Racer 1 and was born in Murray in 2012.
