Racers Ink Eight in Early Signing Period

Murray State football announced eight signees on Wednesday as part of National Signing Day for the early signing period. Striking a balance across offense, defense, and special teams, the Racers also found student-athletes both from the high school ranks and in the transfer portal.

Class 7A State Runner-Up at Venice High School in Venice, Florida
All-State WR and DB as a junior

Gideon Bedada, OLB, 6-3, 230, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Transfer from Old Dominion
Tabbed as a three-star recruit out of high school by 247 Sports
As a senior, racked up 56 tackles, 14.5 sacks and also forced five fumbles
Brother, Ebenezer, currently plays for Murray State

Two-time American Conference champion with the Bearcats

Three-year letter winner in basketball and two-year starter in baseball at Anderson High School

Jonah Logan, OL, 6-10, 330, St. Louis, Mo.

Picked the Racers over offers from Arkansas, Marshall, and UNLV
Helped lead Vashon High School to the second round of the MHSAA Playoffs

Kyle Parini, K, 6-0, 190, St.Louis, Mo.
