The Racers played in the Golden State for the first time in program history

The Murray State women's golf team came home from The Beach Invitational having competed against the toughest field of the 2022-23 season and learning about what kind of team they can become.

The Racers finished up play with scores of 329-325-320-974 and a spot in 15^th place.

Ana Picchi placed 25^th as a solo player and was second among the 12 individuals in the event with a score line of 80-81-75=236. Her 75 was the low round of the event for the Racers.
Payton Carter paced the team with a spot in 31^st place on scores of 83-76-78=237.

UCLA was the winner at 911 and a five-shot win over Colorado State. The medalist honor went to Zulaikah Nasser of Sam Houston with a score of 222.

The next chance for the Racers to compete is at the Bama Beach Bash (March 19-21) at Gulf Shores, Alabama.
