Bre Haislip’s three RBI and Ailey Schyck’s grand slam clinch game one and two of series at Drake.

In a Nutshell
Bre Haislip came on in the seventh inning and hit a three RBI double to put the Racers up 6-5 after trailing through the game. The first game went to the ninth inning before Taylor Jackson hit an RBI to score Jadyn Thompson.

The second game went the full ten innings. While the Racers were able to get on the board early with RBIs by Haislip and Erin Lackey, the Bulldogs were able to make it even in the fifth. Haislip got hit by a pitch with loaded bases to put the Racers up 3-2 in the top of the tenth before Ailey Schyck hit a grand slam to put the Racers up 7-2 and clinch the game.

Fast Facts

Haislip hit a career-high of three RBI in game one. She cemented her two-way player status by allowing no runs through 3.2 innings pitched.
Schyck hit her second home run as a Racer and her first career grand slam.
Thompson set a career-high of runs scored in both games with two. She set career highs in hits and total bases with three, each, in game one.
