James Shutout as Racers Take Series Lead at Southern Illinois

Murray State softball takes game one 4-0 at Southern Illinois.
In a Nutshell
Murray State softball capitalized on Saluki errors in the second inning to get on the board early. Adison Hicks added a run with a sacrifice fly to score Shelby Durbin home. Gracie Osbron and Lindsey Carroll put the nail in the coffin on the fourth inning. Osbron hit a double to the right center on her second at bat before Lindsey scores her home with an RBI double to make it 4-0 for the Racers.

Hannah James kept the Salukis silent through seven innings. Taking the win with four strikeouts while only allowing five hits and a run.
