Murray State softball ends closes inaugural MVC season being in the wrong end of 12-inning thriller.
In a nutshell
Murray State softball fell on the wrong side of a 12-inning thriller against Indiana State in the quarterfinals of the Missouri Valley Conference Championship Thursday.
The Sycamores were first to put numbers on the board from an error in the top of the third, but the Racers replied quickly with an RBI single to score Lindsey Carroll home. The game stayed silent through eight innings before Indiana State scored the game-winner due to another error at the top of the 12th.
