Shimkus Leads Racers at Red Sky

The MSU newcomer shot the low round of the day for the Racers at the Golfweek Invitational
Emily Shimkus led the Murray State women's golf team with an even par 72 in the second round of play at Red Sky Golf Club in the Golfweek Invitational in Wolcott, Colorado.
Shimkus, who joined the Racers over the summer, was in 12th place in the field of 88 players on scores of 78-72=150.
The final round at Red Sky begins from the first tee Wednesday morning in Wolcott.
The Red Sky GC is playing to a par of 72 and to a length of 6,440 yards.
