Henry, Revolorio Receive Conference Players Of The Week Honors

Audrey Henry and Griselda Revolorio both notched defender and goalkeeper of the week for back-to-back clean sheets against Belmont and Evansville.
Senior defender Audrey Henry and freshman goalkeeper Griselda Revolorio were awarded MVC Defender and Goalkeeper of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.
Henry, a native of Nicholasville, Kentucky, played a crucial role on the Racer back line conceding no goals through two matches last week against Belmont and Evansville. The senior has yet to be subbed off the pitch this season and has not been taken out of a match since September 9, 2021, when Murray State faced Indiana on the road.
"I'm very happy for Audrey, it's very well deserved," Head Coach Matt Lodge said. "She has been fantastic all season, and lately the clean sheets have really been a reflection of the back four's hard work. She put in two captain's performances again this week, I'm proud of her continued work for our program. Credit to Coach [Paul] Cox and his work with the back four also."
This is the first time in her career that Henry has received weekly honors.
Revolorio received her first career weekly award after just five starts as a Racer. She notched back-to-back clean sheets last week, bringing her to three-straight shutouts in goal.
She faced 16 shots combined against the Bruins and Purple Aces with six total saves. The Washington, Indiana native currently averages less than a goal allowed per game with 0.72 goals allowed average and saving 87-percent of shots faced.
"Gigi has stepped in and stepped up in a massive way," Lodge added. "Three clean sheets on the bounce is a great achievement and illustrates the hard work that she has put in. Coach [Izzy] Heckman has done a phenomenal job with our keepers, and we are really excited to get back on the field."
