Murray State Athletics to Implement Clear Bag Policy at Home Events in CFSB Center

Consistent with policies in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the Missouri Valley Conference, and nationally, Murray State Athletics will begin the implementation of a clear bag policy that limits the size and types of bags that may be brought into home athletics events at the CFSB Center.

The policy will be in full effect for all men's and women's basketball games in the CFSB Center beginning in the 2024-25 season.

The implementation of this measure is intended to enhance public safety while minimizing time spent searching bags at the gate, easing access into the arena.

Each ticket holder, including children, may carry one approved clear bag, such as a one-gallon storage bag, plus a small purse. The following bags will be permitted inside Murray State athletic facilities and are subject to search:

Clear plastic bag that does not exceed 12" by 6" by 12".
Clutch or small purse, with or without a strap, that does not exceed 4.5" by 6.5".
Diaper bags and/or other medical supply bags (limit one per family).

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to:

Large Purses
Coolers
Briefcases
Backpacks
Fanny Packs
Mesh Bags
Any bag larger than the permissible size.

Tinted or printed-pattern plastic bags are not clear, so they will not be permitted.
