Ellis leads Racers at Live In the Lou Classic

Dylan Ellis led the Murray State Racers with a 54^th place finish at the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.

Ellis, a freshman from Eastern High School in Louisville posted a 54^th place showing in the men's 8K Blue race with a time of 25:52.

Known as one of the largest cross country events in the nation, Live in the Lou features 17 races for elementary school kids all the way to the top of the sport in NCAA competition.

Next up for the Racers is an appearance at the Angels Mounds Invitational (Oct. 18) in Evansville, Indiana.
