Racers Sit 4th – Carter & Kho Share 8th at Rivermont

The Racers are competing in a field of 19 teams at the Georgia State Invitational in the Atlanta area
The Murray State women's golf team grabbed a spot in fourth place and seniors Payton Carter and Eliza Mae Kho shared eighth place after 36 holes of play at the Georgia State Invitational at Rivermont Golf Club in Johns Creek, Ga.
The Racers' carded a morning 308 and a 304 in the afternoon for a 612 total for their second top-5 standing after day one of an event in the eight tournaments they have played in the 2023-24 season.
Carter carded rounds of 76-74=150 and Kho had a score line of 73-77=150 for eighth place, seven shots off the lead of Rebecca Brink of Memphis.
The final round begins Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. Central Time.
