Bad weather overnight in the Atlanta area limited the Racers' run at the Georgia State Invitational to 36 holes

The Murray State women's golf team took fourth place and seniors Payton Carter and Eliza Mae Kho shared eighth place after the final round of play was called off after heavy overnight rain at the Georgia State Invitational at Rivermont Golf Club in Johns Creek, Ga.

The Racers had a score line of 308-304=612 to finish fourth and seniors Payton Carter and Eliza Mae Kho shared eighth place. Carter carded rounds of 76-74=150 and Kho had a score line of 73-77=150, seven shots from medalist Rebecca Brink of Memphis.

The Racers host their own Jan Weaver Invitational (April 6-7) at the home of Murray State Golf, Miller Memorial GC (April 14-16) before traveling to Waterloo, Illinois at Annbriar Golf Course (April 14-16) for the Missouri Valley Conference Championship.
