The Murray State men’s golf team saw their stay in St. Simons Island cut short because of bad weather

Thunderstorms kept the Murray State men's golf team from playing Saturday's final round of the Peoples Golf Championship - Presented by Sea Palms Resort.

With poor weather the winner on Saturday, the Racers' score line of 291-294=585 stood for a 14^th place finish in St. Simons Island, Georgia.

Jay Nimmo was Murray State's top finisher with a spot in 13^th place on scores of 69-72=141 (1-under par).

The Racers' next action is in South Pittsburg, Tennessee for the Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate (March 25-26). Nimmo is the defending medalist (April 6-7) when the Racers play the Hoosier Collegiate in Bloomington, Indiana. The Hawkeye Invitational (April 13-14) awaits the Racers in Iowa City, before the Missouri Valley Conference stages its championship (April 21-23) in Sunrise Beach, Missouri at The Club at Porta Cima at the Lake of the Ozarks.
