Murray State softball drops rubber match game 2-5 at Evansville.

Murray State softball drops their series at Evansville after losing the rubber match game 2-5, Sunday.
The Racers are now 20-26 overall this season and are 8-13 in Missouri Vallet Conference play.
How it Went
The hosts took the early lead as they scored three runs in the first inning before adding another run in the bottom of the third. The Racers scored a run at the top of the fifth inning through Parker Holcombe's RBI single, but the Aces responded with a run of their own at the bottom of the inning.
Murray State scores another run in the sixth inning through Kayleigh White's RBI single, but they failed to catch up to the Aces.
What's next?
Murray State will host SEMO for a midweek non-conference matchup, Tuesday.
