Racers Set To Start 2024 Season With Road Exhibition Match

Murray State takes on the Chattanooga Mocs before starting the 2024 regular season.

Murray State women's soccer is slated for an exhibition match against the Chattanooga Mocs on Thursday, August 8 at 5 p.m. CT at the UTC Sports Complex in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The Racers 2024 roster carries 17 returners, six freshman and two transfers led by the four team captains in graduate Hailey Cole, senior Morgan Bodker and juniors Tori Schrimpf and Mary Hardy.

Thursday's exhibition marks the second-straight year the Mocs and Racers have matched up for a competition prior to the start of the regular season. 2023's exhibition match at Cutchin Field in Murray, Kentucky concluded with a 1-1 draw.

After exhibition play, MSU opens up the 2024 regular season at Cincinnati on Thursday, August 15 at 6 p.m. CT before traveling to Cape Girardeau, Missouri to face SEMO on Sunday, August 18 at 6 p.m. CT. The Racers host Xavier for their home opener on Thursday, August 22 at 4 p.m. CT.
