Zakutney Paces Racers In Day One At RidgePoint

The Murray State men's golf team began play Monday with a spot in eighth place after 36 holes of the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, hosted by Arkansas State at RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro.

The Racers carded scores of 289 and 292 for a 5-over-par total of 581.

Rocco Zakutney led the Racers with a spot in 18th place on scores of 70-71-=141.

The final round is played Tuesday morning in Jonesboro.
