Murray State men's golf will host the inaugural Racer Intercollegiate at the Country Club of Paducah

Murray State men's golf is set to host the inaugural Racer Intercollegiate at the Country Club of Paducah on April 6 and 7 in Paducah, Kentucky. The 54-hole tournament will take place across Monday and Tuesday with 36-holes of play scheduled for the first day followed by a final round.

"We want to thank all of our generous donors for helping make this event possible, especially Banterra Bank," said Head Coach Jacob Miller. " We also want to thank the Country Club of Paducah for asking us to host this annual event at their venue moving forward. The Country Club of Paducah is one of the best clubs in the entire commonwealth of Kentucky and we are thrilled to host this event at the venue. Additionally, along with the Racer Intercollegiate at the Country Club of Paducah, the men's golf program will rehost The Buddy at Miller Memorial Golf Course annually, starting in the fall of 2027 and we are excited to share more details on that soon!"

All nine players on the MSU roster will play in the tournament with the lineup set as follows: 1. Trey Wall 2. Lennon Albans 3. Rocco Zakutney 4. Tyler Wirth 5. Jakob Wellman and Sam Guest, Brock Montgomery, Aiden Hahn, and Derek Limberg all playing as individuals.

The tournament field will be a good test for the Racers ahead of the Missouri Valley Conference Championships as three of the five highest rated MVC teams are in the field.
