Murray State Athletics Announces Basketball Game Day Enhancements for 2025-26 Season

Racers set to play 29 home basketball games between the men’s and women’s programs
Murray State Athletics has announced new game day and fan experience enhancements ahead of the 2025-26 men's and women's basketball seasons.

The Racer men will play their first regular season home game of the year on Friday, Nov. 7, against Mississippi Valley State, while the women host their first regular-season contest on Saturday, Nov. 15, against Saint Louis.

"The CFSB Center is home to one of the best environments in the nation, and we are committed to constantly elevating the game day experience for our fans," Director of Athletics Nico Yantko said. "This upcoming season will be special for both of our basketball programs under the leadership of head coaches Ryan Miller and Rechelle Turner, and we are thrilled to have Racer Nation out in full force over the next few months."

IN-GAME PYRO/FIREWORKS
New for this season will be the use of pyrotechnics and other activation during pregame events. This includes the use of fire for select men's and women's home games.

NATIONAL HALFTIME ACTS
Over the past three seasons, Murray State has made an intentional effort to enhance the fan experience by introducing new national halftime acts to Racer Nation.
Â
This season will be no different, with the addition of NEW acts coming to Murray the first time and the return of a fan-favorite.

CONCESSIONS OFFERINGS
Murray State Athletics and its concessions partner Sodexo, will roll out new menu items for the 2025-26 season. New items include:

Fans can still purchase beer, seltzers, and other similar offerings at the concession stand located at Gate D inside the CFSB Center, along with a new satellite stand located adjacent to the Gate B concessions stand. Alcohol sales are managed by Sodexo, and will be limited to two per transaction with sales stopping at the Under-12 media timeout in the second half for men's games and end of the third quarter for women's games.

CHICK-FIL-A
Chick-Fil-A will serve some of your favorite menu items during football game days. From sandwiches, to their famous lemonade, and chocolate chip cookies, this will be sure to quench your game day appetite.

These offerings will be located in the Gate A concessions stand on the concourse of the CFSB Center.
