2025 Season Ends With Loss to UNI
Murray State Volleyball closed the book on the 2025 season Friday night with a loss to UNI at Racer Arena in Murray, Kentucky.
The Racers end their season with a record of 4-21 and 2-14 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Panthers improve to 22-5 overall and 15-0 in the MVC with one game left.
The Panthers took a commanding early lead, jumping out to a 15-6 lead at the first media timeout before winning the first set 25-9. The Racers responded well in the second set, battling to a 20-20 tie before the Panthers ultimately won the second 25-21. The close play continued in the third set with the Racers leading 8-7 early. However, UNI went on a crucial run in the middle of the set, powering them to a 25-15 set win to clinch the match.
Ella Vogel led the team with 13 kills in her final match, making her career total 1299. The senior added four digs and a block on the night. Federica Nuccio put up four kills and four digs, Haidi Miliou totaled three kills and a pair of blocks, and Morgan McClure tallied three blocks; all in their final match. Freshman Katie Titus led the team with 18 assists and eight digs.
Cassidy Hartman and Molly Shafer led the Panthers with 13 and 11 kills each, while Sydney Golden tallied 16 assists. Defensively, they were led by Jayden Petersen with 14 digs and Lindsay Olendorf with six blocks.
