Murray State Baseball Adds Six to November 2025 Signing Class

The Murray State baseball program added six players to its 2025 signing class on National Signing Day.
Brendan Mullin, a submarine right-handed pitcher from Cincinnati, Ohio, signs with the Racers as a junior college transfer from Wabash Valley College. Mullin primarily throws from a submarine slot and possesses a six-pitch mix.
In the 2024-25 season at Wabash Valley, Mullin appeared in 13 games, tossing 11 1/3 innings, striking out 10 batters and earning two wins.
Miller Green signs as a transfer from John A. Logan College. Green, a 2024 high school graduate, began his collegiate career as the second-ranked third baseman in Kentucky and the No. 18 overall player in the state.
Green helped lead McCracken County High School to three district and three regional titles, was a 2022 all-region selection and the 2023 Mr. Kentucky Proud. He was also his class valedictorian and a member of the National Honor Society.
Max Powers, a junior college transfer from Lincoln Land Community College, signs with Murray State ahead of his sophomore year at LLCC. A native of Springfield, Illinois, Powers was ranked the No. 174 player in Illinois out of high school.
Powers entered his collegiate career as a utility player but joins the Racers as a right-handed pitcher. He features a three-pitch mix with a fastball, changeup and slider.
Colton Zuege signs as a member of the November 2026 signing class as a left-handed pitcher out of St. Xavier High School in Louisville, Kentucky. Zuege's arsenal features a three-pitch mix made up of a fastball, slider and changeup.
In his 2025 high school season, Zuege threw 32 1/3 innings, posting a 0.89 ERA, striking out 43 batters and holding hitters to a .099 batting average.
Will Cayce joins the November signing class for the Racers from Aledo, Texas. Cayce signs as an infielder out of Aledo High School.
Luke Slack, a graduate transfer from Virginia Tech, rounds out the Racers' signing class. Slack signs with MSU as a right-handed pitcher, featuring a strong three-pitch mix highlighted by a fastball that reaches 98 mph.
Slack was a first-team all-region outfielder in high school and a two-sport athlete at Dominion High School in Sterling, Virginia. He arrives in Murray after an untraditional route, playing the previous three years with the Virginia Tech club baseball team.
