RFAA Delivers Another Impactful Donation to MSU Football to enhance future of the program
The Murray State Football program has received another $100,000 investment from the Racer Football Alumni Association (RFAA) that was presented to Director of Athletics Nico Yantko during the Racers' annual Homecoming game on Saturday, November 1.
Â
This generous contribution will have an immediate impact on the program by supporting new competitive resources including roster management and other initiatives.
Â
"This outstanding gift from the RFAA is indicative of the support that this incredible group provides to our football student-athletes," University President Dr. Ron Patterson said. "I want to thank these great leaders for all that they do for Murray State and for the example that they set for our football program."
"We are incredibly fortunate that the RFAA continues to invest in our current football student-athletes and coaches," Yantko said. "The RFAA leadership and all of our football alumni continue to give their time, talents, and treasures, to push this program forward, and we have seen the impact that they have had throughout this season. We are looking forward to what the future holds thanks to their unwavering support."
Â
Founded in 2018, the RFAA continues to have a positive impact on Racer Football through significant donations given by its membership.
Previous investments from the RFAA have allowed the department to invest in educational benefits for football student-athletes and make much-needed enhancements to the team's facilities, including updates to the team meeting room, team lounge, coaches suit, locker room and more.
