The Racers brought home a fifth-place finish in north Alabama and Ella Scherer scored her second top-10 finish of 2024-25

Murray State's Ella Scherer came home with a sixth-place finish at the Chris Banister Classic at Silver Springs Golf Course in Oneonta, Alabama.

Scherer's top-10 finish is her second in the 2024-25 season after she placed third at The Robbie (Oct. 27) in Owens Cross Roads, Ala. It's the fourth top-10 for the Racers in the 2024-25 season as Patti Patterson also has a pair of top-10's with a 10^th place showing at Johnie Imes Invitational (Sept. 24) in Columbia, Mo., and a ninth-place finish (Feb. 26) at the Grand Canyon Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz.

MSU's Eliza Mae Kho placed 15^th to give the Racers a pair of players in the top-15.

MSU placed fifth on scores of 313-317-314=944.

Next up for the Racers is an appearance at the Georgia State Invitational (March 24-25) at Rivermont Country Club in Johns Creek, Ga.
