Racers Sweep Bowling Green in Sweetens Cove Match Play

The Murray State men's golf team won all six matches in their opening round clash with the Blowing Green Falcons Monday at the Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate in South Pittsburg, Tenn.

Lennon Albans sank the final putt of the day for the No. 5 seeded Racers to make it a 6-0 win and set them up for a Tuesday semifinal clash with No. 1 seeded Miami (OH) at 11:30 a.m. Central Time.

The Racers were the only team in the field of eight that won all of their matches in the quarterfinals.
