Racers Push To 4th at Georgia State Invitational

The Murray State women's golf team moved up a spot to fourth place Monday after a second round 298 at the Georgia State Invitational at Rivermont Country Club in Johns Creek, Ga.

The Racers rebounded from a morning 302, led by a pair of even-par 72's from Eliza Mae Kho and Patti Patterson. Kho moved up 19 spots to 10^th place by shaving four shots off her morning 76 for a 148 total. Patterson cut 10 shots off an uncharacteristic 82 in the morning and moved 37 places to 35^th place.

MSU was 10 shots off the lead of Saint Leo at 590.

The final round begins Tuesday morning at Rivermont.
