Racers Kick Off 2025 With Exhibition Win

MURRAY, Ky. — Sydney Etter scored in the 90th minute to lift Murray State to a 1-0 exhibition win over Western Kentucky on Sunday at Cutchin Field.
The Racers entered today's match with a 1-1 record in exhibitions against Western Kentucky. Senior Forward Etter's goal, assisted by Breece Bass, gave the Racers the edge in the all-time exhibition series against WKU.
The Racers recorded 10 shots and played strong defense all 90 minutes, holding WKU to eight shots throughout the match. Goalkeeper Griselda Revolorio recorded five saves to keep the Hilltoppers scoreless.
Bass, Mary Hardy, Sami Wilson, Kate Donoghue, Tori Schrimpf, and Abbey MacDonald also tallied shots for Murray State.
