Murray State women's golf finished their home event at the top of the leaderboard following record performance

Murray State women's golf finished tied for first place at the Jan Weaver Invitational at Miller Memorial Golf Course as the team set three program records during the event. The Racers set new recrods for team single round score with a 280 during the second round of the event, team 36 hole score with a 566, and team 54 hole score with a 863.

Elin Tynan and Ella Scherer finished tied for fifth and completed the weekend at even par across three rounds to lead MSU while Katherine Weir finished three over for the event to finish eighth. Patti Patterson notched an eagle during the first round on the par four 11th hole.

The Racers now turn their attention the Missouri Valley Conference Championships at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois on April 19-21.
