Wall Leads Racers to Top Three Finish at Racer Intercollegiate

Murray State men's golf had a strong outing at the Racer Intercollegiate at the Paducah Country Club with sophomore Trey Wall finishing inside the top 5 individually and the Racers finishing tied for third in the 15 team field.
"All in all, I was proud of how the guys played this week," said Coach Jacob Miller. "It was very bittersweet because of how we finished, but regardless, a lot of positives to build on. We are so thankful for the Country Club of Paducah for helping us host the event, as well as Banterra Bank and our other donors who made this tournament possible. A quick turnaround and we are off to UK."
Wall finished the week with rounds of two-under, two-under, and three over for a fifth place finish. As a team MSU shot 290+282+298=870.
Junior Rocco Zakutney picked up an eagle on hole 11 in the final round.
