Murray State Football Announces Game Promotions and Kickoff Times for 2026 Season

Home opener at Rudolph Family Field at Roy Stewart Stadium set for Thursday, Aug. 27, against Eastern Illinois
Murray State football officially announced game promotions and times for all 2026 home games. The home opener with Eastern Illinois on August 27 is set to start at 6 p.m. and will serve as the Home Opener.
The Racers will host their annual Family Weekend and Salute to Service game against Valparaiso on Saturday Sept. 12, while the Missouri Valley Football Conference opener against SIU will be on Saturday, Sat. 26, and serve as the Faculty/Staff Appreciation and Touchdown for Teachers game. Both games will kick off at 6 p.m.

Homecoming is slated for Saturday, Oct. 17, and will kick off at 4 p.m. More information on tent city and other activities will be announced at a later date.
Junior Racer Day and Youth Sports Day will be against Youngstown State (Nov. 7), with Senior Day closing out the home slate against UNI (Nov. 21). The final two home games will kick off at 1 p.m.

November 21 vs. Northern Iowa, 1 p.m. (Senior Day, High School Band Day)
