Defending Champion Racers Land Top Five Finish to Begin Fall Campaign

Murray State women's golf finished the A-Ga-Ming Invitational in a tie for fifth place

Murray State women's golf finished tied for fifth place at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational at the A-Ga-Mind Golf Resort in Kewadin, Michigan in the team's first event of the fall season.

Transfer Chloe Griffith led MSU with rounds of 75, 51, and 74 to finish four over par for the tournament while competing as an individual. Kylah Lunsford led the team scorers with a tied for 14th finish while Patti Patterson finished tied for 16th. Elin Tynan shot nine over par to finish in 24th.

As a team, MSU finished with rounds of 299+305+296=900

The Racers now host The Velvet at Miller Memorial Golf Course on September 14th and 15th.
