Has there ever been a better nickname than Popeye? Racer fans don't think so. This week we catch up with Murray State hall of famer and basketball legend Popeye Jones. Topics include his first plane ride as a Racer, his love for baseball, his professional hockey-playing sons and when he first begin to think that a playing career in the NBA was a possibility. Wayback Wednesday takes us back to an amazing day for James Singleton who hit eight in a row from 3-point range in 2003. MSU won the 2018 OVC Volleyball Championship and we hear an amazing heartfelt moment with senior Dacia Brown.

Both Murray State Basketball teams are in action week as the postseason continues in 2026. Combining for a school record 51 wins in a single season, the Racer Women are headed to the NCAA Tournament for a second-straight season and the MSU men are playing in the NIT. And we will also check in on the progress of the turf project at Johnny Reagan Field, the home of Murray State Baseball.
