Football Parking
Murray State Athletics has announced a new parking model ahead of the 2023-24 Football season. In this parking model, our goal is to:
• Communicate parking allocation based on lot minimums and priority point rank.
• Create a tax-friendly parking model for donations which does not include the ticket cost.
• Provide more clarity on the ability to achieve desired lots more predictably which were determined based on lot overflow once they hit capacity.
Below, you will find more detailed information for parking allocation and distribution:
• There are three reserved parking options in total for football season ticket holders - Lot 5, Lot 3, and Lot 2.
• One parking pass will be distributed for accounts that have 1-4 season tickets purchased.
• Two parking passes will be distributed for accounts that have 5-8 season tickets.
• Three parking passes will be distributed for accounts that have 9 or more season tickets.
• If you qualify for a donor lot and have more than four season tickets, one parking pass will be designated in the lot that you qualify for.
• Any additional parking pass will be located in Lot 2.
• Football parking passes will be allocated on August 1, 2023.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do you calculate your “total giving” amount?Your total giving number includes any per seat donation associated with your season tickets, as well as any additional donation to Murray State Athletics that is made prior to the close of business on July 31, 2023. This does not include the cost of your tickets.
If a lot becomes full, how will you distinguish who gets into that respective lot?
If the donor lots hit capacity, the Racer Club priority points ranking system will be used to differentiate who receives a parking pass for each respective lot. Once the total number of parking passes for a donor lot has been allocated, we will then move individuals to the next best available lot. (e.g. Lot 5 to Lot 3, and Lot 3 to Lot 2).
What additional contributions can I make?
If you would like to make an additional contribution, there are many different options. You can make an unrestricted donation to Murray State Athletics, or a restricted donation to a specific sport or fundraiser. What if I need an ADA parking space?
Your parking pass can be exchanged for an ADA parking space for no additional charge. Please make this request through the Murray State Ticket Office. ADA spaces are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must show a current handicapped parking pass to receive an ADA parking pass.
What if I want a reserved tailgate pass?
Your parking pass can be exchanged for a reserved tailgate parking space for no additional charge. Please make this request through the Murray State Ticket Office. Reserved tailgate spaces are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
What if I would like an additional parking pass?
The opportunity to request additional football parking passes is exclusive to Victory members of the Racer Club and above. For more information on Racer Club membership benefits, please review the benefits chart included within your renewal packet.
How do I reference my priority point rank?
To view your current priority point total, please visit goracers.com/myaccount and log in with your credentials. Once logged in, click the dropdown menu in the top right corner and click on “My Profile.” Your current priority point total will be found under the “Points Acquired” section. Once you have your point total, visit goracers.com/rank to see where you currently rank.
