2007: Went 5-3 against the OVC with an earned-run average of 5.17...tied a career-high by pitching 9.0 innings twice, a complete-game shutout win over Tennessee Tech (April 28) and getting the complete-game win over Jacksonville State (May 18)...struck out a team season-high eight batters against Austin Peay (May 12)...struck out 21 in his last 22.1 innings (three games), dropping his ERA by a full point over those three games...had a team-high 15 starts with three complete games...struck out 55 with 33 walks.
2006: Started 13 games as a pitcher (18 appearances) and eight games at first base...tied the team lead with four wins, second among starters with a 4.92 earned-run average...led the team with three saves...led the team with five complete games...second on the team (first among returners) with 59 strikeouts with a 2.81 strikeout-to-walk ratio...held opposing batters to a .285 average.
2005: One of three pitcher/fielders on the roster, along with Jamie Leidolf and Tyler Pittman...played in 36 games in the lineup, mostly at shortstop, starting in 33...went 2-for-2 in stolen bases...had a season-high three hits at Eastern Illinois, where he hit two doubles...drove in a season-high two runs against Jacksonville State...made nine appearances on the mound...had a season-high two strikeouts at Kentucky in one inning of work...tied for second on the team with two saves on back-to-back outings against Arkansas State and Austin Peay State.

PERSONAL: Born Michal Patrick Perconte on March 18, 1986, the son of Linda and Jack Perconte...has a brother, Matt (22), and a sister, Jackie (18)...father played collegiate baseball at Murray State and is a member of the MSU Athletic Hall of Fame, having played Major League Baseball...majoring in business administration.
