- 2025 marks Ross's second season at Murray State.
Prior to Murray State
- Spent 2017-23 at Richmond serving as Offensive Line Coach, Run Game Coordinator, and Co-Offensive Coordinator.
- In 2023, Ross helped lead the Spiders offense to elite levels, ranking in the top 25 nationally in completion percentage (9th), pass efficiency (24th), passing touchdowns (11th), first downs (23rd) and fourth down conversion (9th).
- Played a pivotal role in the development of multi-time AP All-American Ryan Coll.
- The Spiders offense picked up at least 4000 total yards in all but one of the full seasons under Ross.
- Before his time at Richmond, Ross spent 2016 with Chattanooga.
- In his time with the Mocs, Ross coached two All-Americans in Corey Levin and Jacob Revis.
- Ross spent two years as the offensive line coach at West Alabama.
- UWA led the Gulf South Conference in rushing in 2014, averaging nearly 230 yards per game, and was in the top 16 in the nation in fewest sacks allowed each of the two years.
- Prior to UWA, Ross spent 11 seasons at Jacksonville State coaching offensive line, tight ends, and special teams and served as recruiting coordinator, working with current Murray State Head Coach Jody Wright and Co-Offensive Coordinator Jimmy Ogle.
Playing Career
- After starting his career as a walk-on at Jacksonville State, Ross earned a scholarship and became a three year starter at center.
- Two-time selection to the Southland Conference All-Academic Team.
Personal
- Earned both his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Jacksonville State.
- Married to his wife, Leah and they have three daughters, Emma, Ann, and Libby.
