- Enters his first season with the Racers in the 2023 season.
- Joins MSU as Special Teams Coordinator and running backs coach.
Before MSU
- His career began coaching running backs at Hialeah High School in Florida from 2013-14.
- Became graduate assistant at Miami (OH) in 2015.
- Coached running backs at Texas Southern (2016-18), Charleston Southern (2019-21) where he was also Recruiting Coordinator and was Offensive Coordinator at Northwood Academy in South Carolina (2022).
Playing Career
- Had a standout prep career at Hialeah Miami Lakes High School.
- Named to Super Southern 100 by Atlanta Journal-Constitution for 2006 as one of 14 running backs.
- Rated 38th best overall in national prospects by CSTV – and eighth among running backs
- Rivals.com had him as the second-ranked all-purpose player in the nation.
- Played at Notre Dame from 2007-2010.
- Had four 100-yard rushing games for the Fighting Irish, including a career-high 139 yards on 21 carries at Michigan (09-19-2009).
- Produced a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Notre Dame’s game vs Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl (12-24-2008).
- Led the team in rushing with 585 yards on 134 carries in 2008 and 697 yards on 142 carries in 2009.
- As a kickoff return man, he had averages of 21.3 and 25.9 yards per return in 2007-08.
- Generated 4,337 all-purpose yards in his career at Notre Dame, ninth all-time in the program.
- Signed as an undrafted free agent in the National Football League with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2011.
- Was a member of the Chicago Bears from 2011-13 where he made his NFL debut against the Green Bay Packers in 2011 with 40 yards rushing on 11 carries.
- In his NFL career, he appeared in 17 games.
Personal
- Earned a degree in sociology in 2014 from Notre Dame.
