- Worked as the defensive coordinator at Commerce HS, led the state with 11.2 points per game allowed
- Served as Head Coach at Cardinal Newman HS in Columbia, SC from 2012-14
- Won 2013 Region 1AAA Coach of the year
- Served as Head Coach at Valwood School from 2009-12
- In 2010 9–3 record en route to the State Semifinals
- Valdosta Daily Times Coach of the Year in 2010
- 2011 earned a 10-2 Record and Region Champions
- 2011 Region 1-2AA Coach of the Year
- Previously worked in the college game as a graduate assistant at Mississippi State and as a quality control coach at national power Florida State
- Earned his Bachelor's Degree from Florida State in 2001
