- In 2016, his defense made opponents turn the ball over 23 times, the 25th highest total in the FCS
- Coached D'Montre Wade and Marquez Sanford who finished third and 42nd nationally and first and fourth in the OVC, respectively, in passes defended
- Coached D'Montre Wade to All-OVC selection in 2016
- Coached Zachary Wade to 2016 All-Newcomer honors
- Has helped the Racers lower their points per game allowed by 5.3 and rushing yards per game allowed by 43.8
- Has coached multiple players to All-Conference honors
- Coached the 2014 season at Samford
- Served as associate head coach, defensive coordinator, and secondary coach in 2013 at Northwestern State
- Served as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Jacksonville State in 2011 and 2012
