Playing Career
Personal
- Darius Hart enters his fourth season at Murray State in 2023.
- Will coach the MSU outside linebackers.
- In 2021, coached Ethan Edmondson to back-to-back All-OVC honors.
Before MSU
- Hart spent the last two seasons at Alcorn State University as the defensive ends coach.
- Played key role in back-to-back SWAC titles for Alcorn with consecutive trips to the Celebration Bowl.
- Hart had the Braves ranked No.1 in the FCS in both sacks and tackles-for-loss in 2018.
- Mentored first team All-SWAC and All-American defensive end Terry Whittington.
- Prior to his two-year stint at Alcorn State, served as defensive line coach at Missouri Southern State for two years.
- Spent one year at Trinity Valley Community College in 2015, helping lead the team to a conference title.
- Began career as defensive line coach at Pearl River Community College before serving as a graduate assistant at West Alabama.
Playing Career
- Hart was a defensive end for the Cowboys in 2009 and 2010 after transferring from Pearl River Community College.
- He was tabbed the Mississippi Junior College South Division Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2008.
Personal
- Graduated from Oklahoma State in 2010.
- Native of Poplarville, Mississippi.
