Gary Crass

At Murray State

Enters his third season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Racers working primarily with the kickers.
Worked with All-OVC kicker Aaron Baum (2020-22) who had career numbers of making 27-of-41 field goals and 54-of-58 in PATs.
Baum was also the only kicker in MSU history to make three field goals of 50+ yards.

Playing Career

Kicked for the Racers from 2002 to 2006.
Was 10-of-11 in his career in field goals and 50-of-52 in PATs.
One of just nine Racer kickers all-time to kick successfully kick eight or more extra points in a single game.
Accomplished the feat in MSU's 59-40 victory at Indiana State (09-16-2006).
Enjoyed a stellar career at Murray High School.
Named KHSAA All-State and All-WKC under head coach Rick Fisher, who played at Murray State and is in the MSU Hall of Fame.
Followed a long line of excellent place kickers from MHS including:Chris Dill, Greg Miller and Shane Andrus.
