Patrick Hooks enter his first season as video coordinator and has been an assistant videographer for the Racers since 2013, as well as, filming for the OVC Digital Network.
A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Hooks graduated from Daviess County High School. During his junior and senior years he was the filming manager for their football team, discovering his passion for filming, led him to taking on other assignments, such as substitute filmer for Time Warner Cable sporting events. Active for several years in scouting, Hooks achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout in 2009, an achievment that roughly just six percent of scouts realize. In 2012, Hooks was awarded the Larry Hager Outstanding Citizens Award and the Daughters of the American Revolution Outstanding Citizens Award.
Currently in this fourth year at Murray State, Hooks will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science emergent technologies. He currently serves as Senator-At-Large for the Student Government Association at MSU, as well as a dorm representative for Clark College.
