Perry Cooper enter his first season as defensive student assistant after playing the past two seasons for the Racers as a linebacker. During his two years with Murray State he appeared in 23 games with 20 starts racking up 97 tackle including 10 for loss.
Prior to Murray state, cooper spent three seasons at UNLV where he appeared in 23 games and ended his time as a Runnin’ Rebel with 16 tackles.
A native of The Woodlands, Texas, Cooper is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree in hospitality management.
