2008: Appeared in two games before injury ended his season...went 10-for-15 for 156 yards and two touchdowns in the victory over Lambuth...was 16-for-24 for 95 yards against Indiana.
2007: Appeared in six games during the season.
BEFORE MSU: Enrolled at Murray State in January 2007...redshirted at UT Martin during the 2005 season...spent the 2006 fall semester at Iowa Central Community College but did not play football.
HIGH SCHOOL: Passed for 2,600 yards and threw 29 touchdown passes while helping FHS to a 7-3 record as a senior...rushed for 835 yards and scored 11 touchdowns on the ground...efforts earned him honorable mention all-state recognition and was named conference player of the year...also selected First-Team All-Dayton and Second-Team All-Southwest Ohio...as a junior he threw for 1,183 yards and 11 touchdown passes...passed for 563 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore in addition to rushing for 300 yards and finishing with 100 receiving yards...also lettered three times as a member of the school’s track team.
